Using only Spergola grapes, an excellent wine made with the Classic method

We have dedicated a great deal of attention to the Spergola grape since the middle of the last century, using it for sparkling wines. A high quality grape was possible only through direct cultivation on the Cà Besina farm, a low yield (5000 – 7000 kg per hectare) such as Guyot and proper farming techniques, producing good acidity and a rich bouquet, ideal for sparkling wines which are left to age in our cellars for over 5 years, improving over the years to become an excellent Metodo Classico.

Recently Spergola has won recognition as a local grape, originating in the region.

Classic method From the slopes of  Scandiano and Canossa vsqprd

Territory:
Foot hills.

Grape:
Spergola.

Colour:
Splendid golden colour, glittering with straw yellow tints.

Bouquet:
Fragrant, delicately floral, with hints of hawthorn, tropical fruit, nuts, dried herbs, straw and yeast as it ferments.

Taste:
Dry, nicely fresh, palatable tending to soft, full-bodied and lingering taste.

Best with:
Seafood, fish soup, caviar, seasoned cheeses Parmigiano-Reggiano or Brie or as aperitif.

Serve at:
8-10°C.

Alcohol content:
12% by vol.

Bottle content:
75 /150cl.

Grape:
Spergola.

Colour:
Straw yellow with hints of gold and green, glittering.

Bouquet:
The aroma of camomile, straw, flowers and vine flowers.

Taste:
Dry, of just softness and alcohol content, lively, fresh and palatable.

Best with:
Appetizers, seafood, smoked fish, with light creams and soft cheeses or as aperitif.

Serve at:
7-9°C.

Alcohol content:
12% by vol.

Bottle content:
75 cl.

Quality Sparkling Wine

Territory:
Foothills.”Reggio Emilia”

Grape:
Blend of various white grapes.

Colour:
Light pink.

Bouquet:
Fragrant, slightly vinous, with intense hints of fruit such as citrus and strawberry.

Taste:
Dry, very fresh and palatable, harmonious softness and refinement.

Best with:
Mixed hors d’oeuvres, prawn cocktail or as aperitif.

Serve at:
8-10°C.

Alcohol content:
11,5% by vol.

Bottle content:
75 cl.
