I Bianchi di Scandiano

DOC wines with the “classic” name

White wines from Scandiano are rooted in the territory and are cited in Medieval literature. In the region of Scandiano, Matilde di Canossa drank “the fruity, white wine”.
La Casali Viticultori contributed to DOC recognition of these wines, with the further qualification “Classico” reserved to grapes grown only in the region.
With the aim of providing consumers with the full range of sensations that these wines can offer, we produce a classic white in both dry and sweet versions, using solely Spergola grapes grown in our own vineyards and harvested by hand. The grapes are placed in small containers and are then lightly pressed to censure the delicate flowery bouquet and taste.
